Our New Bible Study

Henry Blackaby’s original Experiencing God was instrumental in shaping my faith in my 20s. So last year, I decided to revisit it in its updated Bible study format. It was just as meaningful the second time around. Ava did the study too, loved it, and has since recommended it to several of her friends.

This fall, we’re doing the newest one, Experiencing God in Everyday Life, and this time we’re doing it together. We’re holding each other accountable, comparing notes, and talking through it here and there between classes, workouts, and errands.

Looking back, I can see how much my faith was shaped in my 20s. That’s when I was really forming my understanding of who God is and how He relates to me personally. How you see God, and how you see yourself in relation to Him, as His beloved creation and as His image bearer, is everything. It shapes every season that comes after. I’m so grateful that foundation was being laid for me back then, and it’s a big part of why sharing this with Ava now means so much.
